Vacuum wiper motor line routing M38A1?

I got enrolled in the other site and you were correct, he has photo documented much of what I needed to see. His example vehicle is an M38 so the source of the vacuum is different coming off the intake manifold but the overall routing is similar. Thanks again for the lead. Wade

Vacuum wiper motor line routing M38A1?

Thanks for the lead. I'm not registered on that site but I will be in a few minutes and see what is posted.

Vacuum wiper motor line routing M38A1?

I'm working on getting my original vac wiper motors working on my just purchased M38A1. Of course what would be helpful in making the motors move would be if there was actually a vacuum line running from the fuel pump, along the block, to the firewall and from there it is just rubber tubing...

What are you asking for the bed and do you have any photos ? Thanks, Wade

    Street Legal???

A very late response I know, but in case others with the same question search this thread, I used Haggerty Ins., with no problems to insure my FV-721 Fox. Cost is less than $275 a year and includes limited towing.

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

Neither. In my particular case with the insect nest obstruction to clear the vent tubes you need to blow air OUT through the vent tubes by disconnecting them further "upstream" of the obstruction. In other words disconnect the lines between the transmission and the obstruction and then direct...

Fair price for a Ferret MK 1/2 turret?

Do you still have this turret?

    A3 tire work in Massachusetts

For what it's worth, attached are some pictures of a successful non-ether re-mounting of a super single tire on the A3 rim. As others noted before, PLENTY of tire lube packed around the rim as you would if you were repacking wheel bearings, plus a couple of carge straps, plug putting the rim on...

    M35A3 Parking Brake adjustment

Hmm...never noticed a panel but without three or more elbows/wrists on my arm I can't get enough grip on the spring with pliers to pull it into position. I've never noticed the panel you mentioned, but I'll be looking for it now. Thanks for the tip.

    M35A3 Parking Brake adjustment

Out parking brake shoe return spring install? I've adjusted the parking brake but need to replace the outer parking brake shoe return spring as pictured in the center. It's the rusty one in the middle that had a broken end you can't see in the picture. I have the new replacement but was...

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

For those that were wondering and might ought to check theirs, here are the vent tubes at the back of the cab, (exterior) complete with dirt dauber nests to ensure you will blast trans fluid all over the cabin when refilling.

    Tire won't take air M35A3

A look inside the wheel Some of the accumlated mud/rust/crud has been knocked out of the valve fitting but you can see the effect of water being in the wheel for an extended period. No wonder the valve was blocked.

    Tire won't take air M35A3

Mystery solved If I could view the site from my home computer I'd have added photos right now but I'll do that Monday. In short, apparently during its service with the Guard, this M35A3 had the tires partially deflated enough to allow the tire to unseal from the rim while the vehicle was in...

    Can't view site

No luck on any of the above suggestions, clearing out caches, cookies, cooties and everything else.. I agree it is something with my computer but it is odd that only the SS site won't display. Everything else from banking, Ebay, car sites, weather etc., displays as expected. I was hoping...

    Can't view site

Doghead, I knew the base membership were free, that's why it wasn't making any sense that I can't view even the homepage from one computer. It still just displays an olive drab screen, no text, graphic or other characters. I have since become a premium member but the problem remains at my...

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

Jbrowning22, you are the lucky winner and thanks for the response. I took at look at the vent lines on the back of the cab and all three were in fact clogged. Cleared those with a piece of wire since I wasn't wanting to pull the entire floorboard out to access the vent fitting on the...

    Can't view site

Doghead, I'm saying a couple of things. 1) I cannot view the site from my home computer and I used to be able to; 2) I recently through PayPal submitted a $15 payment order for membership but I know PayPal has not yet completed that transaction as they are about another day or so from drafting...

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

I just changed the internal and external transmission filters on my A3, including blowing out the trans cooling lines per the TM. The manual says drain and refill capacity is 16 quarts. I did not measure the quantity of fluid drained. During the refill at 8 quarts, still no reading on the...

    Tire won't take air M35A3

Good point and no, I'm not positive that isn't happening. I can't hear any air moving through the hose (compressor not running of course so I can hear). However in my case it doesn't take any air so I can't even get to an O ring leak stage yet. But thanks for the input and once I get this...

    Can't view site

Thanks for the response dmetalmiki I'll take look a that but the problem is confined to Steelsoldiers site only, all other sites work fine. I agree it is some software setting on my end that has changed. Steelandcanvas, I have submitted payment through PayPal for dues, but the site works fine...
