    Thats what i read as well. Its processed to be safe if small amounts come into contact with food. Hence the refined mineral oil.

    For 30 bucks, id have tried it out. I seriously doubt it was water based. A simple q tip test would have told you if it was fuel worthy.

    It could also be white mineral oil. Alot of food grade oil is mineral oil. Are there any specific markings or numbers on the drum?

    Every now and again i get access to new veggitable oil and new motor oil. Is there any issues mixing the 2 and thinning with diesel? ive heard of problems with used oil but wasnt sure if the same applied to new oil. Thanks.

    Im still going to order a new injection pump assembly and a new in tank pump. Just for peace of mind. got alot done this weekend changed out the dust boots,and got her running. :beer:

    Well truck is running! After changing all filters out again and replacing all fuel. Its running like a scalded ape. Hopefully no one decides to do anything else to it. Tank is locked. But there are other things to mess with................

    JEEZE! got it on yesterday, after fighting with it for a good hour i broke down and and got some glue like was recomended earlier. I basicly did little spots all around then slipped on the ring. Im pretty sure i invented some new cuss words. Thanks all.
