While using the gen last month, I switched on the house AC. The load meter was close to zero at the time, as we weren't running anything that drew amperage. It overloaded the gen and kicked off the breaker. I turned off the AC, reset the breaker, and all was fine except that the current meter...
Thanks. I know Delks. We stopped by there on a road trip a few years back because the spread of things visible from the road made it impossible to ignore. I'll contact William.
Hey, Ike. Glad you're still here.
06H70893 is the number stamped into the fuel gauge. That's on the top on the side of the nut. Mine has been ok but I see there's a free-moving bar in the middle that's supposed to be fixed to the frame at the bottom and free to spin. A piece of large paperclip...
Hiya Hiya,
Been more than a year since I came by to talk. My 1990 mep-003A has been running like it should, and re-filling its tank semi-automatically from a 1000 gallon underground diesel tank. My wife needs oxygen 24/7, I need it at night, and we're feeling secure now, grid or no grid.

Many thanks. For $132 it's worth having a spare starter. Not much point in having just a solenoid, since it appears the starter must come off to replace it.
Keeping the diesel fresh in the tank is the goal. For more than 25 years I've been adding ComStar Super Heat to the underground tank...
Good idea! It might be more elegant to use a Y type T. By chance I have two proper size caps, one of them a 1952 bronze job having a channel cut across it rather than a square head. Easier to drill through the channel than through a thick square head. We could have a right angle or through...
