How much work do the GL employees do to some of these trucks to get them more presentable for sale, I would imagine some places do different levels of prep. When I picked up mine they said I could drive it home no problem but I loaded it on my step-deck and hauled 200mi it just in case. My idea...
I am pretty sure the valve is bad, I guess my main problem is no power to the switch in the cab if it is hooked up like it came, it has no power, I just can't figure out where I don't have power to the switch. I am guessing a break in the wire or disconnected?
Been working on the ether switch today, here is what I have done:
Checked if I had power to the switch in the cab no, so went to TM9-2320-272-23-1 and found the ether starting system operation. I have power to 5A through the CB and to 27 I could not find 5C so I disconnected 498B from the...
Jack, one thing I have learned from this site is that someone will be able to help, I have had my share of problems with my M1008 and my M923A2 someone will know and walk you through it.
I did not have to fill out an EUC when I bought the M923A2 so can it be sold to someone north of the border. I did some searching but I could not find anything recent on the topic within the last 3 years or so.:-?
It was 0 here last weekend elk hunting and I was a little worried but she fired right up with 2 GP cycles, sounded better than I thought it would. I put new GP's in this fall and I always run Howes additive in all my diesels.

I have used these seat covers for years on all makes and models they wear, fit great and last for ever, but they are not cheap.
Update, it was cold the other morning and I took her to work so I could work on it in the shop. The heater was not working very good so when I had a chance I pulled the resistor and holy cow was there a mouse nest in there. I ended up pulling the blower motor and cleaned out the houseing on the...
I agree, when I first bought her both gen lights were faults one way or another, I fixed gen2 with a rebuilt one but gen 1 is kicking my butt. I ordered a used but working unit from HBW and I could not get it to charge the batt at all, next I ordered a new one from rare electrical and same...
When I first got my 08 I went through tons of info on the site and that was one of the many things I did to her to get pointed in the right direction, maybe I will take it apart again and see what kind of job I did.
I have been searching through old posts and have come up with a few answers that might be right. Here is my situation
Gen 1 light comes on when I turn the key on and after started it dims a little, when I am driving and the rpms are higher it dims to the point you cant see it in the day...
