    Cold Weather Starting NHC-250

    Like a lot of others have said, put in a block heater keep it plugged in. If having fuel problems put in some anti-gel and then make sure you put stuff in to keep the fuel good. I live in North Dakota and run an M816 and have no problems

    M816 brake issue

    I have pressed the pedal hard, but brakes are hard and the pedal does not want to go down ??

    M816 hydraulic issue

    If all is engaged right the shaft will be spinning. Under the wrecker body there is a main shaft that runs up at a very sharp angle. Engage the crane from the rear controls and you should hear it run once the clutch is released. The shaft under the body is a CV joint style.

    M816 brake issue

    I have an M816 wrecker, when I set the brakes to use the winch the brakes will not release. The micro brake switch works well. It says to release step on pedal. Not sure if there is something else that may be wrong, so if anyone has ran into this problem any help would be great.

    air escaping through air intake stack

    You may want to check the brake foot valve. There should be no air leaking by if the brakes are set.
