I had the same bracket on mine when I got it. The back of mine had brackets that prevented the tailgate from opening all the way. I cut them off and moved on.

The line body itself is probably an “off the shelf US design” and the truck is most likely one of the M207 cab and chassis that Canada had GM build for them. A quick check of the passenger side frame rail just ahead of the shock should give you the serial number for the truck. First 3 or 4...

To test your solid state blinker box.
Pin “A” to a light bulb which is grounded
Pin ”B” to a 24VDC source
Pin “C” to ground
When “B” is connected, the light should blink about 80 times minute

Mr. plowboy, I do track maintenance for the railway. I don’t go near the rolling stock or have anything to do with it. Just repair the rails that’s it. I just transferred outside after 15 years in the diesel shop as the pay was higher.
