    Gun racks in the humvee

I used the gun-grabber mount off of Cabelas, i extended it until it matched the stock bolt mounts. It works great! Plus it protects the butt of the gun from boots and the barrel from wear and scratches. The old cast iron latch style m-16 mounts went in the trash.

Hmmwv hydraulic fan delete, addition electric fan

Hello gentlemen. I was wondering if anyone has successfully deleted the hydraulic fan, stock on the 6.2, and added a pusher electric fan. I checked the archives to the third page and I have only found CUCV conversions, and the same article reposted every other link. I read an article on the...

    Starter Issue

When in the morning cool my 1038 will start up after a 10 second warming wait without failure. Now, if I warm the engine on a Sunday morning on a short trip for coffee and turn it off, I cant restart without hitting it with a shot of starting fluid. If I don't have starting fluid and I give it a...

I have a valid question I cant find a straight answer to in the manual or on the internet. I accidentally smoked the PCB. The truth is I wasn't sure if I had the correct one in the first place. My question is "What PCB do I need?" Its a 1986 m1038 with the glow plug sending unit, and relay...

After a year with the 87' Chevy CUCV I signed her away. Since its the end of hunting season here in California I figured it would be the perfect moment to start on 1 of 5 m1025 acquired in the early 90's. So I say goodbye to the CUCV forum and hello to all in the HMMWV. Were located at a museum...
