The failsafe module is NOT under the hood, it is in the left front kick panel in the cab,right above the fresh air vent held on by 2 7/16 bolts,1 ground wire and a large screw on connector with wires coming in the top of it.

Needs a failsafe module, very common when both lights dont work

Most of the time,One of the two low pressure switches on the primary or secondary tanks are stuck or bad. start your truck,let air pressure build to 90-120 lbs and unplug 1 switch and use a jumper wire to complete the circuit.see if buzzer or/and light are off.Repeat with second switch...

you do not have to remove the air compressor to replace the gaskets. It takes about 1/2 hr to 1hr to change both of them on the truck. I have done a few, without taking off the unit.

take off the 4 bolts on the head of the air pump and make a gasket out of gasket material.I can almost gaurentee that is your problem......I have had it happen more than once.Those air compressors dont go bad.It is almost always the top or bottom gasket has failed.part number on gasket is...

The michelin xl tires are wavy from brand new, i will not sell a truck with these tires as they are the ones prone to blow outs and the most failures.

I bought my first m923a1 back in june and loved it........until i drove a 923a2. I could not sell my a1 fast enuff! The a1 has no power! is loud as **** in the cab,and gets around 6 miles to the gallon.You can barely talk to a passenger in the a1 as its so loud.The a2 are quieter than a dodge...

Did you remove the 4 bolts that hold the top plate onto the compressor and check the 2 gaskets?you probably only needed the 4 dollar gasket.... i have done a few that did not build air and that was always the problem

I had the same problem, and it was the head gasket on the air compressor was blown out, no one had one local,so i made one out of gasket material to get me off the road and home, but i stock them now. there are 4 bolts on the top of the air compressor. It takes a little wiggle to get the bolts...

i thought the hardtop use hooks that come upward to pull the hardtop tight to the windshield frame. my holes in windshield frame do not pass thru the top ,but are holes only on the bottom.
