    Help Identifying headset

I have this headset, which is single ear cup. The plug is something I have not previously seen before. In addition to the main plug, about halfway down the cord, it branches off and goes to two spade terminals. There are no manufacturers name or part number visible. Has anyone seen one of...

    LS-671 to AM-1780 connection

I do have a C-13292 cable coming that I'm hoping might give me a little more performance out of the -671. Barring that, I will eventually get myself a LS-454 speaker Mike

    No Power on AM-1780

Thanks for the reply. I did open the back and found two blown capacitors under the "RADIO TRANS" switch (upper right). I successfully replaced the caps, but there was some carbon and a tiny but of melting to a ribbon trace. Best I can tell, none of the actual traces were affected. So I'm back...

    Mil Radio for 80 meters

As much as I like the 320, I'm thinking now more of vehicle type radios rather than manpack. The Pinzgauer was equipped with two RT-524's and a single R-442. That would be cool and period accurate (cold war), but would only allow me to get on 6m. Still trying to find something capable of...

    No Power on AM-1780

Hello, I have an AM-1780B that will not power up thru the J508 connection. It does however power up thru J501. Any ideas? Is there a common failure point that might be the issue? Or where might I look? Thanks in advance... Mike

    Mil Radio for 80 meters

Hi Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a mil radio for mobile use that could work 80 meters (3.5 to 4.0 mhz). I'd like it to be able to do SSB Phone and minimum power out of 50 to 100 watts. Don't know if such a thing exists but I'd like to put a mil radio in my Pinzgauer...
