Well the old adage of " it can take a long time to trouble shoot an electrical issue but a short time to fix the problem " rings true. Just by chance I discovered that one of the Canon connectors was only hanging on by a couple of threads. Tightened the plug and voila the ole girl fired up...
Is this Speed Switch just for monitoring the speed of the unit and shuts it down if it overspeeds ? Does it regulate the speed of the unit while under a load ? Unit has a Cummins governor as well as the Load Measurement Unit. Thanks !
Thanks for the schematic Guy. I've been all over this unit and can't find the S- 9 Speed Switch S-9,1,2 and 3. Don't see any signs of it being removed. No dangling wires with connectors. Weird.

You would think someone would have a detailed diagram of wiring a reconnection switch. Have called and searched all over with no luck. Hate to plop down $ 500 - 600 for the complete box when I have a perfectly fine switch. Thanks for your reply.
Am in need of a detailed schematic for wiring a Reconnection Switch on a MEP 002a generator. Was able to obtain an assembly diagram of switch from Electroswitch the fine folks who built the switch. Now have it reassembled . Have looked at several TM's on the generator but none go into much...
