A 228 mile ride on a loaded grain train will make you feel like you had your rear handed to you by an 800 pound gorilla... That same ride twice in one...

Congratulations my point went over your head. You should read your own rulebook belittling people I am sure is in there somewhere. Ill shut up now you won't have to worry about me raining on your parade anymore. Its obvious I am not welcome here. 6,650 post on 1919a4.com and I can't remember a...

    5 ton m925a2 headlight replacement

Make some buddies at the local motor pool. In the past I gave em the old one and they spotted me a new one. Granted I use my truck for state business so I am not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. You could always ask. The worst they could say is no.

    Military tents?

I own a small GP tent. I paid $200 for the tent complete. It is made of canvas and I agree the vinyl versions are not that great. They don't breathe very well. Down here in the Deep South I have a pair of portable surplus A/C packs to use with it. Pretty nice setup.

Amazing! Ever notice how many threads are locked in this Forum?

Thats the problem, I don't remember what the screen name was and the email I used originally was through Comcast which I dropped 5 years ago. Come to think of it i dont remember the email as it was some crap assigned by Comcast. No way to recover the info. I suspect that isn't against the rules...

You are absolutely correct anyone can do that. However the context of my original post was about this very if you don't like it do your own thing attitude. As I said previously if you choose to have that outlook its is well within your right. This is however a force that keeps people away from...

Amazing! Ever notice how many threads are locked in this Forum?

I have been here a lot longer than three months. I signed up 5 or 6 years ago and then stayed out of pocket for a while. I couldn't remember my screen name and didnt have the email I signed up with so had to start over. The auction I was referring to was a link to a fixed price buy it now, no...

Politics are part of everyday life. You can't post about politics because its against the rules. You can't post a link to an eBay auction because it is against the rules. No offense to the moderation staff as its your site and you can do what you want. I will offer one suggestion maybe you...

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

On my truck the air line goes directly to the gauge itself. There isn't an electric intermediary.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

My gauges drop out to zilch when I turn off the master switch with the exception of the air. It slowly goes down to zero over the course of two days.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

10 minutes to get up to operating temp is pretty normal on my truck. It also runs maybe 10 degrees cooler than most all the rest I have ridden in. It is however always consistent after we have run it down the road a piece.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

I just found a mechanical one from a M923A2, I am just going to plumb it in and do away with the electrical one all together. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

I may just buy a set and replace them both then.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

That makes perfect sense then. The wire flopping in the breeze gives me a pegged reading when pulled from the sender. Next question is who do you guys recommend me throw some coin at to get a replacement sending unit. The fella I bought this truck from said it would always read zero no matter...

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

I believe the other wire is 32, can any of you fellas take a peek and tell me which one of them is the power and the sender? This truck is a 1972 AMG if that info is pertinent.

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

I am assuming one side would go to ground and then the other side would be variable based on the variance of what the sending unit was sensing?

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

I would figure someone here had either been a mechanic on one of these or had the problem before. I am pretty proficient at most mechanical stuff. Hence the reason I posted the two specific things based on what the other two suggested. While I can't read the TM in my current situation I suspect...

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

Great I didn't ask that they be posted. I asked a simple question and posted that the number 27 wire is grounded. I am not going to download the TM to my iPhone and don't have access to the computer. I am asking for HELP in the open. I am NOT able to look at a TM at this time. Info is all I...

1972 AMG M35a2 oil pressure gauge problem

Hence the reason for just asking for the information out in the open. Save the problem of digging. I seriously doubt I am the only cat that has been down this road.
