Thanks the fan does not move back and fourth when i disconnect TDM and the sound doesn't change . the fan can not be moved when the truck is not running which i understand is normal.

Hi all, I’m working on my 2004 M1123 with a 6.5 non turbo. The radiator fan clutch stays engaged all the time. I have changed the Fan Clutch solenoid valve, Thermostatic Fan Switch and the Time delay module and still no change! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

thanks to all for the replies I have a basic M998/M998A1 without a winch - 1986 with a 6.5l engine.

Quick question i run with a group of HUMVEE owners off road - most M998s and my M998 rides considerable rougher and harder. all the tire pressures are the same around 25 PSI. Did HUMVEEs have different suspensions? Do some have a softer ride? thanks

Thanks in advance for the help. I have changed the glow plugs on my M998 and didn't pay attention to which wire goes to which plug. Does it make a difference?

Here is the update, installed a new Glow plug controller & protective control box matched set (KDS Smart System) check all the glow plugs all good. Now i do not have a wait light. The old box the wait light came on. the new parts no wait light and the truck does not start. i pulled a couple...

thanks checked the glow plugs and all metered out at 1.7-1.9. what is interesting is the plugs look new and well as the control box under the dash but the plug controller on the engine does not look like it has been changed. is the reading acceptable for the glow plugs????

sooooo i bought another M998 with a 6.5. Batteries changed and new, the truck cranks and pushes white smoke from the exhaust but will not start. i used starting fluid and got it started and ran all day and started no problem. Parked over night and now it will not start again same as before...

M1078 ctis i had to in-cease the air pressure turning the screw on the air pump on the engine and once the pressure was up the CTIS worked
