    5 ton Ambulance

    You should mount a crane on the back. Just about the only way you could get a "patient" up in that thing! Maybe I convince my LT to let me ride around in that for the day, instead of one of our normal ambulances.:shock:

    GMC Crackerbox for Minuteman

    Some of those old crackerbox's had v12 gassers. This is a different style truck, but I would not be surprised if it had the same motor. GMC Twin-Six V12 Myths Gas mileage would suck, but it would be pretty cool!!

    Sleeves for Cat 3116

    I think you are looking at the wrong kind of sleeve. That sleeve you bore out the block, press in the sleeve, then machine the sleeve. This is a "dry sleeve" and needs to be done in a machine shop. What people complain about with the 3116 is it is not a "wet sleeve". In a "wet sleeve" motor...

    cummins 6BT bobbed m52

    They are actually very common. The 5.9 was used in some of the Freightliner FL series and the Ford F650-750 trucks, along with others. These trucks used regular medium duty transmissions, both automagics and manuals, in the SAE 2 bellhousing flavor. The Dodge pickup guys have been grabbing...

    CJ10a Flightline Tug --> 4wd Pickup Truck

    Heat has finally broken down here. I found a pickup tool box that will house my fuel tank and batteries, and have some room left over. I was pretty amazed how well a fullsize pickup truck tool box fit on the 101 trailer. I got the motor in (hopefully) for the final time. I have the charge...

    2000 CUCV-II SWR Axle Swap to Dually ?

    All 14b full float axles had the same spline count.

    2000 CUCV-II SWR Axle Swap to Dually ?

    200 clams and I would be on that like white on rice. Use it for a dually, or use the extra width to run HMMWV wheels without spacers. Hard to go wrong for 200 bucks. Just check the gear ratio.

    2000 CUCV-II SWR Axle Swap to Dually ?

    Cab and Chassis and and SRW have the hub change trick. DRW axles are wider. Vans are a completely different animal. I bet they pulled the axle for something stupid, not much to go wrong with a 14b. Shafts should be cheap at the junk yard.
