I have a 1986 M1009 CUCV which was converted to 12 Volt operation before I bought it. Recently I bought a complete AN/VRC-47 radio set. I forgot that the radio set needed 24 volts.
So now I need to convert 12 Volts to 24 Volts. I'm not sure of what type of step up convertor I need and what...
CUCV M1009 street side radio bracket W/blue prints
Picked up a NOS street side radio bracket kit with all the hardware. As in the pic below. As a bonus all the blue prints and installation papers were included. I haven't had the time to take pic's of the blue prints.

Was looking at Gov Planet and saw a M1009 for sale with a Pioneer tool rack mounted above the left rear tire wheel well. Was this a common practice?

As above, went to a firearms auction and came home with a excellent condition ex-Marine 1967 Johnson M762 3/4 tom flat bed trailer. $550 which included two receiver type mounted pintle hitches. the little trailer is in just amazing shape. The tires are just okay, buy will do for now. No problem...

I have a 1986 M1009 CUCV. I want to have the ability to use my trailers existing flat four plug with my CUCV. So my question is instead of splicing in a flat four plug adapter, does anyone make a "tee" type adapter which simply snaps into the existing connectors which lead to the military...
Picked this up at Barstow Ca. a few months ago. The paint was very worn, so using the federal codes at the paint desk at Home Depot I was able the get an exact match for Tan 686A (code number 33446) mixed up in Behr Ultra Premium Flat. Perfect match!!
