First trip out in Ward Lafrance.

she is very slow, I can only compare it with a Matador timber crane. They are both about the same performance and gear box's are hard. I guess that's down to me to get use to. The steering is very heavy and with hardy any lock, I have to make a lot of shunts. The front wheel studs are extra...

First trip out in Ward Lafrance.

Hi mate, I can't take the credit for the restoration on this one. She is still pretty much how we got her. she seems to have had an easy life. We have a few small jobs to do but that's the fun of owning an old vehicle.

    Our Ward Lafrance

Hi, yes she still runs on her original Continental petrol engine. A lot of people change them for diesel's but we like to keep original. Ours is pretty much complete. We have the original canvas doors as well. She is very low mileage. On the front bumper says about traffic recovery so I guess...

Hi mate, I have been looking into getting our Ward to the War and Peace revival. The issue we are having at the moment is the cost of Haulage.. Our Ward is original with the Continental Petrol engine at 4 mpg ish so we could not afford to drive her there.. We are not ruling it out yet. I will...
