Best way to test it is to pull it out and test it with a meter. Set it to continuity and should show no continuity and use a heat gun and watch it connect then it works. They might have put in the wrong senor.

Picked up Hmmwv on 7-27-16 and got my SF97 on 8-25-16. So it was pretty quick with Jwade in the mix :) They must have change the SF97 better because I got a State of Florida Motor vehicle title reassignment supplement paper work too. Form: HSMV 82994

I also try to find an alt option switch but that was a no go. Just buy one off ebay for $45 like I did. To me sounds like the switch has a short. Hook up the meter to it and move the wires to check for a break in the wire. Can be a easy fix.

Got the Fording stack fab. up. Working on the windshield bracket for it. Removed the front bumper and straighten it out.

It was the same for me but it will happen. When you get it you get busy going over it and fixing things and forget about the long wait. Did get my SF97 in today. :)

Replace my dead fan clutch switch and now the fan comes on when it needs too. Temp when it comes on is around 220 degrees. I know the temp gauge are not spot on but now I know its working after repair. Only gets hotter when driving then fan comes on. Just fyi for other owners.

Update, we had alot of rain and did not get much done. Did get the hood repair done. Plan on getting the hmmwv painted. Working on fab some stuff today. Water Fording Stack, Hood Prop bracket, Front Brush Guard.

Ok, I got the Trans filter done and was very clean inside. Beside the old filter that sat for a year. Plus I found a homemade gasket sealant o-ring in the pan. Must have been the horse power upgrade from the military lol.

Trust me went you get it. The good happy feeling comes back just the day you won the auction. :driver:
