Thanks. Just to clarify, so once I remove the 4 screws and access the back of the area I will need to completely remove the cables and pull the cables through the decal plate to remove it? If so, that is painful. :(

Hello - I am replacing the plates and decals on my 1991 M998. I am trying to replace the AC decal plate with fan switch and the two pull out knobs. I assume the knobs need to be removed but didn't want to break them in the process. Can anyone give me some tips on removing this? Thanks...

Thanks NDT. I thought I had read somewhere the M998 had a fusebox so that is good info. I'll give your recommendations a shot.
