    X Door glass replacement

Can anyone throw some insight at me on how to replace the Glass in the X doors? I bought a set of doors and there are a few sheets of laminated glass that have some cracks. Seller included new glass but I have no idea what all is involved in replacing the glass. From what I see, I need to...

It did drive off the trailer, I was able to build some ramps at home to bump the tires up and over the fenders. Had I of known what I needed before picking up I could have brought some. But not having any idea made the forklift the best choice.

Truth! But this is what I'm kind of giving with. I'll do my own variation of it

It actually prevented damage to my trailer. The m998 is 2 inches too wide to fit between my trailer fenders.

It started right up, drove it in the lot, forklifts on the trailer. I agree, chains are better but I don't own any binders and the trailer isn't setup for it. I've hauled tons of cars across the US with this setup. 4 straps pulling down forward and backwards. Then two on the front tires to...

Good info, thanks! Mine is actually at a storage lot off base so that takes some of the hassle out. I made it to San Antonio but my tow rig had issues on the trip so I'm at a shop having them sorted out. I hope to have the HMMWV loaded up first thing in the AM!

I was planning on bringing two spare batteries for my f250, I could even make a 24v jump pack out of them. I wasn't sure if they would work in the m998. I've never seen the batteries on one and don't know what kind of terminals they require.

Thanks, I hope it starts too. It was a runner in auction, no mention of needing a jump in the description. I don't have a comalong, but I do have a diesel tow vehicle with dual batteries and two jumper cables. I can disconnect the two batteries in the hmmwv and jump them individually then re...

Won a m998a1 on Mar 23, got my EUC approval on April 25. I'm impressed by the time it took, they told me 8-12 weeks!. So I'm departing NV for TX with my trailer and headed out to pick it up, anything I should be aware of and or look for when I get there? It's a 1,250 trip each way, fingers...
