    M35A3 master cylinder

I have heard that there is an M35A3 crossover for the master cylinder. Can anyone tell me what that may be?

    Burma Jeep, Ford GTB, G622

The GTB is very rare. I would reconsider. Just my opinion.

If there is no winch it is possible that it is a converted cargo truck. If the left side step is only the length of the cab it is probably a cargo truck as the gas tank won't allow the extended step. However, the good news is that this is one of the few differences and it could still be restored...

    Burma Jeep, Ford GTB, G622

I feel certain that it is a bomb service truck but can't actually tell. It has the boom but can't see the passenger step or the front winch. It does have the boom winch which is difficult to find along with the trolley winch. If you can get it, it's in much better than mine when I started. Lots...

    smaller steering wheel

I did what I thought was the easiest solution. I took out the steering column and shortened it 4" and then put it back in. Sorry for the late reply to this thread.

    M932A2 CTIS 5 solid lights

My suggestion would be to remove all of the plastic tubing used in the system and throw it away. Then, clean out all of the fittings, and put it back together using new tubing. You'd be surprised what a small amount of dirt can do to mess up the system. It's just like any other part of your...

    Military low boy trailers 15-20k

Thanks guys. I'll check on that. Would I have to engage the winch to use it, or does it go on before the valve? I'm a novice at this.

    Military low boy trailers 15-20k

Does anyone know how you would hook up a civilian drop-neck trailer to a military tractor (M932)? The civillian tractors have the hydraulics on them to run the drop neck.

What about them mounted on the stock M35A3 wheels?

finished mounting my new 395s on combat rims

When you mounted the 395's on the stock M35A3 rims, how much space is between the rear tires. And, if you have a heavy load, do they get closer?

Old Fat Guys needing more room

I know that most of you fit well in your military vehicles. I am not one of the lucky ones. Too big. On both my WC-62 and my M35A3, I took out the steering column and took a piece out of the center, and then put them back together. Make sure you don't take off so much that your knuckles hit...

    Tire size question

M35A3 tire choices I am finding that the 14.5x20 tires for my M35A3 are soooo expensive. Will the 395/85 R20 tires work? I am sure they will fit, and the advantage would be cost. What kinds of problems may arise if I use them? Road stability, weight capacity, etc. Bill

Changing from DOT 3 to DOT 5

A friend of mine used my My M35A3 and put DOT 3 brake fluid in it, and didn't tell me. The fluid in the reservoir is looking strange and I want to change it to DOT 5 as it should be. Do I need to completely blow out (with air) the old fluid, or just push the DOT 3 out with the DOT 5? I don't...
