    Humvee Leaking Hub?

Where did the blocked vent line cause your leak?

    Another M998 MMA MWO question

I will take pics when I get a chance, because it is different from both options. From what I saw yesterday both front and rear calipers close on the rotors when parking brake is applied. Will check again.

    Another M998 MMA MWO question

Yes, the MWO has been done, but is not stamped on the data plate. Both sets of calipers are the same...front and rear both have the ebrake closed on the rotor when parked.

    HMMWV brush guard orientation

That's funny lol. Yeah, it's all fun and games until the cartel headquarters is North of where you live...and last I checked, Phoenix is a 3 hr drive in my civilian daily driver.

    Humvee Leaking Hub?

Agreed. I don't know much about Hmmwvs. 90% of that little I have learned has been in the year since I left and got one for myself, and my business. Sure I spent time in the motorpool...we had 5 soldiers doing PMCS on 75 vehicles, and just as many generators and ECUs because everyone else was...

    Humvee Leaking Hub?

Hahaha...now I know what flex seal is for...

    Humvee Leaking Hub?

Boot was replaced with all fluids and seals the day I picked it up...I think it was just the new trail I took.

    HMMWV brush guard orientation

Haha, I was hoping that wouldn't get noticed. Had some aftermarket pins, never got around to getting originals...chucked the aftermarkets. The two bolts are much better for security and strength, considering where parked and proximity to the border... and for now I don't mind the time it takes...

    Another M998 MMA MWO question

Looked yesterday both calipers, both wheels. Seems like one huge piston pushing in on the calipers.

    Humvee Leaking Hub?

And then this happened... So I know this subject has been covered ad nauseum...truck has 10k miles, of which I have contributed 1k. Started daily and driven at least weekly. Out of the blue comes the dreaded g/o leak with has splattered the tire, and unfortunately, the body as well. Stuff is...

    Another M998 MMA MWO question

Thanks all! 3 pt is on today. Came in one of the boxes I hadn't opened yet. I also reinforced the Airlift, so I guess all I need to do later is to reinforce the cross member and the front of the frame!

    HMMWV brush guard orientation

So I was looking at my brush guard today and had a feeling that something just didn't sit quite right...felt like it was on backwards. Then I remembered, that my unit used to attach them with the opening/exposed posts facing forward in the hopes that they would cut any wire's or lines stretched...

    Another M998 MMA MWO question

Thanks 86humv, yeah I meant no extra strengthening of the frame as far as I can tell. I could see that the parking brake closes the caliper on the rotor...so that is good. Last major service was done in 07/2011 as written on suspension components.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Front and rear airlifts with brush guard on the front, X doors, solargizer, swing arm mount for the rear, spare tire carrier with two 4 gal emergency cans on the gate. Installed an ammo linker on the tunnel cover. Basic so far...but it's come a long way.
