12V system and RFID push button start

It's about 10-15 feet. If you are worried security while you are close, you can switch the FOB to manual mode. In that mode, you click the button to wake it up and authorize the FOB with the truck. In practice though, I just leave mine in automatic mode so I don't have to reach in my pocket...

12V system and RFID push button start

Hey gentleman, Digital Guard Dawg has the proximity key up on the website for order now. It's been up for a little while but I forgot to update here. https://digitalguarddawg.com/keyless-ignition/power-sports/dgd-m-24/ It's on their website under "Power Sports". Since it is 24v, it should...

Has anybody found an adaptor for an aftermarket steering wheel?

Anyone have a better solution for mounting a Momo wheel (with horn button) to a HMMWV? I bought the Momo adapter (part #4513) for the H1 but it adds a few inches in length making it pretty much unusable on HMMWV as the steering wheel would be in your chest with the limited driver space in a...

12V system and RFID push button start

OhioHMMWV, just call and ask for Bruce. He’ll get you squared away. They don’t have it up one the website yet. AOR, HMMWVs are only 24v. There is no 12v side. None of them have a stock dual voltage alternator. SOME people add one and a separate 12 v batteries and others just tie into one...

12V system and RFID push button start

There is no push button on this version. You keep your regular starter switch. A bystander would never know the difference except that the truck won’t work if the FOB isn’t nearby. I’ll post a video in a bit.

You're the man M99821T. I've been working with them on a production ready version and they sent me the prototype. Works great! I'll do a little video and post the link.

12V system and RFID push button start

Hey gentleman, I got hold of Bruce at Digital Guard Dog. He is going to put together a plug and play unit for us. I'll update here when progress is made.

12V system and RFID push button start

M99821T, with all the crip tools and connectors at hand, would you be willing to fab up another plug and play harness for the Digital Guard Dog? I reached out about 24v system while they were at CES but they didn’t respond. I will try them one more time (since they MIGHT have a 24v system for...

All, thanks for all of your contribution to this site through posts and actual operations. I am not prior military but came to like the HMMVW while being exposed to them in the Corps at Texas A&M. That eventually led to a long term desire to pick one up as a project vehicle and just a cool...
