I had the same thing happen. I Changed out all of the original Wellmans (there was only one or two that were good) on my M1010 for AC60G's and they fried within a couple of days. The glow plug resistor had gone bad. I did the bypass and have been trouble free (at least glow plug wise :-|) ever...
According to the bumper numbers I was able to recover on the back of my M1010 ambulance, my truck was vehicle 3 of the 646th Medical Company (Ambulance) assigned to the 244th Medical Group, New York National Guard
From the info I was able to gather, the 646th was inactivated during the FY 97...
I just registered my M1010 here in NV. It's registered as a Chevrolet D30 "Postal/Military"
It was previously registered in CA as the same thing. No issues.

But that's just me. Probably overkill, but it makes me feel better.
It appears that the Twinput was the culprit. I replaced it with one from a parts truck and the truck shuts down like it should.
On another subject, what should the voltages be at each of the terminals on the Twinput and the Duvac while the truck is idling? I'm getting various readings that...
Ok, I pulled the glow plug control card and it looks in good shape. It still cycles the glow plugs on start up like it should. I started the truck normally, pulled the card and it still continues to run for about a minute before shutting off after I turn the key off. The parking brake warning...
I've worked the headlight switch back and forth. Nothing changes.
When I shut the switch off, the engine will continue to run for a minute or so then shut down. It is like a relay is sticking, but I can't find one in the schematics that would cause a problem like this
