    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

So I assume the way a power bleeder works is you just pressurize the system and then bleed the air pack, then pressurize again and do each wheel? Correct?

    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

Ok thanks, what would you bleed first? This air pack or the brakes? I would assume the air pack so you get get all the air out right there but I may be wrong.

So... got another question for you guys. After I rebuild my Air Pack and get it back on what is the procedure for bleeding the brakes? I have done a little research and found out how to "power bleed" brakes but is there more just a conventional way to do it? Would you bleed them like a normal...

    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

Ok guys so crawled under the truck and let it run for about 10 min. Air pressure only got to 80 lbs. I believe my hunch was right (the air pack). Basically when I turn the truck off I sprayed the entire air pack and all lines, I did not see any physical evidence of an air leak BUT there has been...

Good idea clinto! Surprised I didn't think of doing that. I will tomorrow crawl under the truck and spray soapy water all over the air pack and nearby lines. Welldigger I will double check my glad hands and make sure I don't have a leak back there. Any other place I should check I am...

    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

When my air pressure was up at 120 psi I had a good form pedal and stopped well, since my pressure now only Holds around 90 as of today pedal seems spongie and does not stop as well. I did check my glad hands did not hear our feel any leaks. I got under the truck and felt all around the lines...

    Air Pack Bad??/Time for rebuild?

With the truck running and no brakes applied I can only build 90 psi once shut down without applying brakes it only takes about 2 min to bleed down. The leak sounds internal to the air pack. Where are common leak areas or problem areas I should look for as well?
