    This is what I am wondering. I think the lunette ring is 29.5" on M1102. My 5 ton is 40 miles away right now so I can't measure the pintle hook height. I think it may be about 6" or so higher. Can anyone run out and measure theirs?

    This is about correct. I'm not really worried about backing up. I drive semi for UPS and pull doubles. When building your set we "cowboy" the dolly. We are not supposed to.
