Labels on, job done for now. Took her for another ride yesterday, 55 mph windows up really does sound just fine and it didn't have to be ear splittingly loud. Drivers window down had to notch it up a little but still within reason.
Finished wiring up the Stereo today and mounted the speakers.
The fronts are down behind the cab vents, shouldn't interfere with anyone's leg room. I may kick the front left when I go to turn on the high beams until I get used to using just the toe.

My speakers arrived today along with my wire antenna.
They are indoor/outdoor mini box speakers rated to 200w. I got two pairs, cheap and pretty good reviews about volume and durability for such a compact size.

Here is the head unit I'll be using, bought it used off of Craigslist. It's the same one I'm using in my jeep and I really like it, and for $30 I couldn't pass it up. Has an auxiliary input for my smartphone and a USB socket for controlling or charging Ipods and other media devices.

I wanted speakers in their own enclosures so I wouldn't have to build any from scratch. Two will mount in the rear corners of the cab and two more maybe on the top of the windshield frame...
