    Deuce Stereo Installation

Labels on, job done for now. Took her for another ride yesterday, 55 mph windows up really does sound just fine and it didn't have to be ear splittingly loud. Drivers window down had to notch it up a little but still within reason.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Finished wiring up the Stereo today and mounted the speakers. The fronts are down behind the cab vents, shouldn't interfere with anyone's leg room. I may kick the front left when I go to turn on the high beams until I get used to using just the toe. The rears are mounted to the back of the cab...

Got the holes drilled for my missile switches and 24v LED indicator lights, the first switch will be used for my light bar http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?135559-Deuce-Light-Rack-Build&p=1671317#post1671317 and the second for my spotlight. Deuce Stereo Installation

My speakers arrived today along with my wire antenna. They are indoor/outdoor mini box speakers rated to 200w. I got two pairs, cheap and pretty good reviews about volume and durability for such a compact size. Antenna is a marine wire antenna which will be run up the windshield frame, it was...

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Here is the head unit I'll be using, bought it used off of Craigslist. It's the same one I'm using in my jeep and I really like it, and for $30 I couldn't pass it up. Has an auxiliary input for my smartphone and a USB socket for controlling or charging Ipods and other media devices.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

I'm also installing an AVCOMM 24 volt aviation intercom in the near future, audio will be switchable between speakers and headsets.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Here is a link to the speakers I picked up, they are indoor/outdoor 200w. I wanted speakers in their own enclosures so I wouldn't have to build any from scratch. Two will mount in the rear corners of the cab and two more maybe on the top of the windshield frame...

Can't take all the credit for it, design was mine and I sheared and punched all the parts but my buddy welded it up and dressed the edges.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Hey Fellas! Thought I would share the progress I'm making on my Stereo install. I am in the process of building a mount for a single DIN sized AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. The mount will also be used to hold either 3 toggle switches or two switches and a 12v plug, haven't decided yet. This will mount...
