    That is what I said, but he said there was a reserve bid/conditional clause so if I wanted it I would have to pay another $5000. I guess I will have to pay closer attention to online auctions, when I won the bid it read as "conditionally sold" but there was nothing to elude there was a reserve...

    Talk about getting the rug pulled out from under my feet! Went to go pick up my M135 at the auction and "they" forgot to tell me/us there was a conditional clause built into the unit. So I would have to pay an additional $5000. To get it. Looks like I am back to square one!

    I am lowering to make it easier to get in and out for my wife and kids, and most importantly so I can get it to clear my 8' garage door. For a tranny I am thinking of a MT654 at minimum. The cat 3306 and cummins 6 CTA both turn counter clockwise. But I might go to a Alision 7000 series...

    It is going to carry my kids, polaris rzr 4 and pull my 8000 pound holiday trailer. You are right that they would probably work, but I plan to put a cummins 8.3 in or a Cat 3306 with a double OD tranny. i don't really want anything to old, so I prefer the newer stuff. Just have to make sure...

    1953 M135 axle replacement Has anyone replaced the stock rockwell axles on the GMC m135 with Ford F450 or F550 axles or a similar more common type? I have a unique use for the M35 and I think it will be easier to replace the axles. I need to lower the truck 6 inches and at the same time use...
