    Recovery4x4, It's a 1969 and I just crossed 500 miles and 99 hours :razz: I don't think those bushings got flexed much.

    My best guess is too much twisting. I got to a spot where I couldn't go any further without the risk of getting stuck, so I had to back up like 100ft. The trail edges were about 1-2ft higher and I had to do about a 6pt turn to get turned around. The thing is I heard alot of popping in the back...

    Yeah, but how do I line up the axles again? Comealong? I did see when I was under there that the others are coming out too. :roll:

    I had a friend come in from out of town who wanted to take his jeep out. I took my other deuce out just in case he got stuck. :-D Unfortunately while offroading the dogbone came undone (the rubber bushing came out of the hole) and the front tandem axle shifted sideways a few inches. :shock...
