Ok, finally got some tires. they are 35x12.5 Micky Thompson MTZ's mounted on pro comp rock crawler wheels. there is no rubbing during normal driving but when it flexes out it does hit the back of the front fender a little so i need to cut those out. other then that it rides great, no road noise...
ok. so im lookin to get 35x12.5x16's. what backspacing would you guys recommend? should i get wheels with the stock 4.5 backspacing or should i go a little less, maybe like 3.5? i just want to get the most clearance if possible.
Ive put about 60 miles on mine so far and its doing fine. the swaybar is disconnected also but there isnt any wandering or anything that i have come across yet
when i took the shaft off because it was too short, i figured i would go ahead and measure the extention on it. Fully compressed it is about 31 1/4 ish long. Fully extended its about 33 1/4 ish long. so after about 2 inches of travel when extending it you can feel it lock solid like its hitting...
