I finally got around to putting in my new CB radio.I used a CB removable base so I can take it in and out easy.And bolted it to my hard top that is made from 1/8 inch steel (they were custom made for the DNR forestry trucks).I drilled and tapped the top for studs.The removable plate is lockable...
Well I just bought my new up to date military radio (cb) today.Its as close to a military radio for now.I talked to a cb guy in my town he is going to turn one of my mx-6707 antennas to a cb antenna,will see.
I was thinking you could listen to the local military.We have a small intelligence base about 5 miles away.And we have 2 local national guards,1 is around 3 miles away.I was thinking you could just listen to the drivers and not the classified stuff.I was hopping if I got one you could hear...
