Good to know--I will keep that in mind going forward. Better to know that now than to learn it in the rain going down through the mountains (which is when I found out my driver's side motor was stuck).
If I can't get reliable functionality from the driver's side motor with a little bit of tinkering, I think a metal replacement will be the best avenue. If I do that, I'd probably only replace the driver's side as it is the most important. Hopefully the passenger side one doesn't crap out on me...
I have found that while my pass. side windshield wiper motor works like a charm, the driver's side one [naturally] is stuck pretty good. Did you wind up rebuilding your wiper motors, replacing them, or some combination thereof?
