    around 285. and thats measured from the correct points for a tandem. OSO your kinda right but its not as bad (i dont think) as it would seem. it takes a little more thought when running in congestion but that goes without saying. It rides better than my M819 because of the xtra length...

    spose it could be used for heater intake. wider fronts would be way cool. finding something the same height as the 1100 R 20 may be a challenge.

    worked out just as i planned. the right side air cleaner is completly usable. currently the air intake is terminated 7 or 8 inches inside the side panel. they will both be used when motor in this truck grows up. edit ---oops- thought i loaded a pic with both aircleaners newly installed.

    currently running 1100 r 24. all around. these tires are taller than i expected them to be. next step for me is to go with tubeless tires and wheels. more choices and better tires. sorry for the typo above. that should have read 1100 r 24 not 1200 r 24.

    Ron, I dont want to guess so let me put a tape on them in the morning. it seems they are 5-6" taller than the 11 r 20. i will make certain and post up for you. my next step is going with 22.5's all around. more options and better tires. and tubeless. and that would be a big help for you...

    this one started life as a M820. moved the tandoms to the very rear of the frame, added a midship shaft and extended the fish plate frame. plus changed a few crossmembers for driveshaft clearance. then added the angle for the 5th wheel and ramps.
