Wow, what else can be said? It truly was another great SS event.
A big thanks to everyone who attended. Without each and every one, such a terrific time would not have been possible.
And a special thanks to:
All those who helped to assemble and disassemble the 40 ft flagpole. :grd...
Just spoke with gimp. He arrived on-site safe and sound in the big-tire M35A2C with a M109 in tow by himself. He found squatters already occupying the patio.:-x
A new thread has been started for t-shirt ordering / info :

I am trying to keep the t-shirt idea alive. We need to get this going now, if we want to have the shirts in time for the rally. Didn't seem to be any interest on the Connie Rodd suggestion a few posts back. I had some windshield time in the passenger seat yesterday, so I hammered out a quick...
Brett, Thanks for resurrecting the t-shirt idea. We definitely need to get that detail in the works.
Here are some more examples that I suggested back in 2007: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/steel-soldiers-rally/7770-haspin-07-lets-get-move-2.html
Could we have a moderator put the June 10-14 date in the title of the thread or some other prominent place in the first post? It is pretty well buried in the middle of the thread after much discussion, but without any real declaration.
I have been refering a lot of the new guys to this...
Ha! That's a better idea than mine. (and a lot less work for me too :-D)
How about it Mr. Doyle? The whole shebang would make a great MV mag article . . . . so you could call it "work-related" travel ;-)
I do have a nice 750gpm Hale front mount that I have been wanting to mount on a truck. Maybe on Todd's parts truck?
It would be really nice for a lakeside wash down bay to clean the trucks up before heading home.
Also,
Chris,
Would you consider a June date instead? ? The last two have been in June, and I think it has worked well. It's not too hot (like July), but still muddy. April is cold and nasty rainy. I understand your concern about May being reserved for Aberdeen.
Just a suggestion. . . .
Chris S.
This is a great idea! Count me in. As I am close by, please consider my sincere offer to help in anyway I can.
I just have to comment - There is always a spectacular group of folks in attendance. I've seen everyone pitching in when there was wrenching to do; food and drinks are...
