I have found this link to the trucks for sale in Norway. I notice they have a LD435.1 engine. I take it these are NOT turbo varients? http://www.surplus.no/index_uk.asp

Hi my friend. That's exactly what I thought when I registered. This is also my username for a forum in England that I'm a member of. So when I thought I would register on here (only just discovered it, and I've owned Military Vehicles for 17 years) I was thinking someone was bound to have it...

Hi Matt. Yes they are Michelin 7.50X16 XCL's. They are the correct tyre fitted to this vehicle. The series 3's use Good Year (hi miler)Xtra grips.

Hi Jim. Thanks for your message. Yes, the same has happened to all the UK trucks. In fact, the Army was selling off all the Bedford MK and MJ 4X4 4 ton trucks. But when Gulf 2 started, they re-bought all the trucks they had sold to dealers and put them into a service extension program, where...

Hi Gary. In answer to your question. The bolt you can see by the windscreen pillar is for the "removable" windscreen. The Hard Top is indeed removable and can be interchanged for a soft top. If the truck is being transported by air and needs to be stripped for this purpose, then the Hard Top...

The WOLF is the new Defender XD. I say it's new, but it's getting on a bit now. I know these Land Rovers very well. I was in the Army for 8 years and they were starting to come in about 1995-96. I've driven hundreds of them. They are a very good truck. They have the Land Rover 300TDI Turbo...

It needs some work doing to it, but the engine is as sweet as a nut. In fact you can't hear it running. It has a full new clutch, new clutch master and slave cylinders, great running gear and a rust free chassis. I'm asking for offers, but I reckon it's worth about £1000 ($1,747.02 at todays...

Cheers Jim, Thanks for your kind comments about my trucks. I'm selling the series 3. It's been dry stored for a few years now and I want to get rid of it. The REO is my priority at the moment.

Hey thanks for making me feel welcome guys. I will have to check out the Norway option. The thing is, I think the trucks are in better condition coming from Germany, as they tend to be stored for years and not used much. You guys certainly have a fantastic collection of vehicles. I would kill...
