Yes you can, But I got a deal on a motor and transmission combo. So I just changed them both and now I know I have a good motor. Yes it was more work to do both.

Took the oil pan off this morning and welded up the hole, also got the pan back on the motor. This job is about done. Now to move to the next problem. :doh:
