On the bed, it was a dropside. All I did was pop out the pins that held on the sides and removed them and then cut down the flat part of the bed. Eventually I will get around to cutting down the actual bed sides and get them mounted, but only when it warms up a little. Hope that kind of clears...

I have a couple, but I have not painted the bed yet, so I will shoot a couple pics of the welds so you can get an idea of what I did. It wasn't all that hard really. I used a Sawzall to cut it up. It left a real nice, straight, clean cut.

Hey, it works surprisingly well. I had a makeshift cup holder made out of a coat hanger in the thing for a while, but it was removed when I painted the dash. In the future I plan to fab up a nice sturdy one.

Haha, yeah. I haven't devised a practical way to handle that yet, but I am thinking one of those little 1000lb hoists mounted to the bed up near the cab on the passenger side.
I have had to use that spare though, and I was glad I had it.
