    Fmtv no more dual voltage

Hit Me Up... Its my phone phonetically lol - stops bots from reading it. Follow Ronmar's instructions on connecting your cables. If you can give me a call on the 2 parts i can ship pretty quick, they're no use to me so reasonably priced.

Are those pics what you're missing?? I have both of them since I pulled all that off mine.

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

There is a Polarity Protection Device (PPD) and a shunt back there. It should be able to run without those as long as the cables are properly connected to each other.

Up and running!! I do like the idea of using that output for something. Lighting may not be my option just in case I need to see when the engine isn't running. Videos in the Military Vehicle Camper Mods FB page.

With the split battery system the starter will always have at least 26.7V Fired it up today!! Success on all fronts.

Thx. So this is on foldout 7. On which page(s) do I find the continuation of that connector plug P31x ? At least P31 is labeled and tells me where things go. I just haven't figured out their schematic system yet. I'm almost done doing the electric fan swap. Hope to fire it up today. NVM... My...

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

Been trying to follow the A0 schematic rather unsuccessfully for those wires. How does the dash gauge get it's signal?

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

About 95% completed. Waiting on the marine circuit breakers, 80A per 24v bank, 140A for the 12v was as close to Bussman specs as I could find, and 1 more terminal block for the 12v leg. Bussman is installed, Smart Isolator is installed, battery banks are split, everything except for the 12v leg...

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

Here is the Bussman schematic as a "converter" What it doesn't state in their data sheets is whether the unit still works as an equalizer when wired as a "converter". I'm inclined to run the extra cable as in the equalizer circuit, it's technically there anyway. I'll be using these terminal...

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

The Bussman schematic still shows a 12v tap coming from the battery. I was wondering about the necessity of that since it is also a converter. The right side schematic is from the Bussman. The left is from the Smart Isolator. I am not doing any disconnect switches on the Bussman side, and...

    Fmtv no more dual voltage

Has anyone pursued this to a completion? I am in the process on my 98 A0 M1079 and mainly have some wiring questions. The new alternator is a 200A 24v internally regulated unit. A Bussman Equalizer Replaces the polarity unit, with 12v coming off the lug on the Bussman. I'm assuming that the 12v...
