I'll be leaving Augusta Thursday after noon and will be linking up with my buddy from Valdosta on I 20 before rolling in the final leg
I'll post up and what freqs i'll be on en route.
I have a trailer if anyone in Augusta needs to haul anything or has some firewood etc
well I looked at the pictures, of course its mostly of hill climbs that don't look too tough for a Lifted F250
Narrow has me slightly concerned, not worried about scratching the m1009, but don't want to scratch up the paint too much on the F250
Guess I will figure it out when I get...
yep feel free to delete my stuff, what I just added more . doh
is there an off roading thread yet?
just want to know what to expect,
is there any required items to bring ( recovery strap, shackles etc)
of course I'm an over planner..
plus I really think I will try to...
Shoot i just did a quick google /ebay search and saw some from $175-250 for rifles that dont look half as good as mine. Are they worth that much?
I have at least 2, cant remember where the third one is, but they are in great condition, as in not broken or repaired, metal barrels look...
yeah and if a real vendor wants to just buy all of my crap at once so they can resell I'm down with that too :-)
whats a rubber duck m16 a1 worth these days? just trying to offset the cost of the trip with any sale of my old gear...
I'll probably bring a coupel duffles and an alice pack...
I dont consider myself a vendor,
But I plan on bringing a whole bunch of BDU uniforms, field jackets and assorted Military clothing and accessories to sell
mostly cause I need to clean out my closets!!
I do have some m16 rubber duck / dummy rifles ( A1 style) if anyone is looking for...
hey I will have an extra civyy tent on hand...
but if you don't feel like sleeping in your vehicle, grab a cheap tarp from harbor freight run it from the truck to the ground and instant place to sleep.
did that for years
surely we can locate a cot or something...
hey if your close, I'm coming from Augusta GA, I can swing by in my truck and pick up a bed load of firewood for the cause.
I'll hit you up as we get closer to the event
I'm bringing my M1009 out, and definitly want to do some offroading in it, BUT my 17 yr old has more or less taken it over, so he will want to drive most of the time, I think I read it would be ok to bring my regular civy truck and maybe drive the trails too? that way I can give him some...
