I'm back, thanks to some expert help from jwaller and wreckerman. Had a brake lock up on the way back, they walked me through bleeding it to release the pressure.
Got almost everything unloaded before 6:30 - except the food, and the fridge is plugged in, so it's not a priority. Will go now...
Because of some grounding issues, I'll be leaving for the rally later than I had hoped (no headlights last night). Still have to go get the truck, finish loading it (with lots of stuff, including food) make final PMCS, then roll 3 hours to DT. See ya when I get there!
I reserved RV spots 64 and 65 on Jan 1, just for the power to run the MKT and Wreckerman's stuff. I'll sleep under the MKT, since I probably won't get to stray far from it anyway!
I'll send it home with Waller if I have to, or maybe Dawn can carry it back to keep for the rally next year. Bottom line - bring it if you have the room!
Ferro,
I plan on bringing the three field sinks from the Food Sanitation Center (wash, rinse, sterilize) and MBU's to run under them. We will only need the hose to fill up the sinks, not on all the time. I'm also going to borrow the hose and grease trap from MitchG so we will only be dealing...
fantastico,
If you ain't there, you're square! Specially if I can make it up to the VA rally, and down to the FLA Rally in a Toyota! Go to Flickr.com and search for "CZJ 1000mm" to see my toys, camera and otherwise.
Tigger,
Clinto still has a few shirts from the 2008 rally last time I checked. Hopefully, he'll speak up soon. Come on over to the MKT and help Ms. Pam supervise us when we're cooking!
Congratulations! We'll work on getting it fixed up for the FL Rally in Feb! Post some of the pictures as soon as you can - or PM me the lot number and I'll get whatever I can.
Joe,
I've been watching this thread and trying to pick up first names and screen names so Kenny could make name tags. I'm at over 100 names and we are still five weeks out. Clinto is correct in that many will have a change of plans at the last minute. I know I am scheduled to take two trips...
Since I'll be fresh back from Poland, a bottle of Zubrowka (Bison Grass Vodka) will be packed for the trip. Kinda glad to hear about Dion, since the EPA didn't get DNA evidence - an altered appearance should do fine!
David,
10 gallons ought to keep WM and PB busy for one evening, what about the rest of us? From who has replied to this thread, my count now is right at 100 people. Not all of them may partake of home brew (some will not be old enough to do so legally).2cents
PB, I'm glad you cleared that up. Now about the vegetation that will have to be replanted......... Doies he have 10 million dollar coverage? It's a wasteland for three or four miles downwind.
