I'll probably have the Fox already loaded on the trailer but that needs even more room to turn than the HEMTT. My other stuff, nope, not gonna happen 'till the Arlington Airshow.
I just loaded a Med. Tow Bar in the HEMTT, it will be at the meet at around 11:00AM. If you can get yours to them earlier, perhaps that might be better. I'll still bring mine, it's in there already. :D
I kinda washed the HEMTT yesterday, still a few fluids to check, but we'll be ready unless Mr. Murphy shows up, he does reside in my back pocket. :cookoo:
Brad showed up at the PSMVCC meeting tonight and mentioned you guys stopping by, his gates open at 7AM that morning he said. He convoyed with my Scorpion tank once 6-7 years ago, Damon and I also went down there in the HEMTT to pick up a turbine generator.
BTW, could one of you take some...
Not unless the sides are back from paint, I bought it as a flatbed and until they are done it is still a flatbed with the platform almost 6' in the air. ;)
I am happy to give rides in it however, and I'll happily pay for all the Diesel! :driver:
Hopefully my new bed sides will be done by then, they are getting powder paint epoxy primer and 383 green top coat. The 4 color camo will have to wait 'till spring/summer.
I have a funny story to relate to that (we think its funny anyway).
Years ago our local MV club President wanted to come up with ways to make the club some more revenues at events. He came up with an idea, we would charge $5.00 a head to drive my tank over a car.
Some background: I had...
Mark (Jinx) and I were planning to meet at 0930 just south of Bellevue in order to arrive slightly before 1100. Unless my truck breaks or a major cats-ass-trophy happens, I'll be there.[thumbzup]
I was kidding, someone your size it's no problem, at 240 I don't have a problem although it would have been easier when I was 370. It only takes about 180 lbs of force on the handle of my 42" long torque wrench to make 600.
