There are 2 24 volt leads at the battery box. One to the starter and one goes to the polarity protective box and then in thru the cab to the panel. It's easy to miss connecting one if the truck came without batts. The 12 volt into the cab goes thru the polarity box too. I would start at the...
The 2 rear connectors have a habit of slipping back a bit and not making good contact. The unit is only grounded by being bolted into the dash panel which is grounded by being bolted to the dash which probably isnt grounded as good as it should be to begin with. I run a ground wire from the ecm...
Do you have 24v at the fuel solenoid with the dash switch on? Is there fuel in the tank. There is a primer pump on the filter housing over the starter. Make sure there is 24v at the fuel solenoid. Pump primer, jump relay crank and pump more. See if it will run.
Check all the fluids and jump the solenoid see if it cranks. While you are at it check and see if you have 24v at the fuel solenoid with the power switch.
WTEC3 on these trucks will have a single digit display and in place of the vim module (hanging down in your truck) will be a trans ecu. So its supposed to be blank. Did the engine start?
Without that puller you would have been there a while. The light switch is a standard mil one like pretty much every other truck. Not all the fuse and relay locations are used. You can use regular blade fuses in a pinch.
