The wife and I had a wonderful time! We can almost never steal away from the hectic work schedules and the things life throws at you but I ALWAYS will find a way to attend this rally for a little R&R. It is a blast! I think there is no better rally out there, tons of smiles and laughs, good...

Anyone going past TNJ Murray? I was fixing to buy a pair of jeep seat frames but shipping is a bear($$$)! Was hoping someone has some room in their truck and give them a ride down from DE.

How's the gas prices up that away? Looking on the web it looks like the Flying J off of I20 is the cheapest. I found it by shear luck last yr. I don't know what my MPG will be with the new tires. I don't get on I20, I'm coming up through Warrenton. 12,Ga22,Ga44.

How do I wind up with so much crap for just a 3 night camp trip? Oh, that's right. Wife is coming too. Gott'a have those silly things like a tent, air mattress and food. :-D Kind'a miss the days when all I needed was a poncho, knife, and a fire starter.

Ewwww! Remind me to NOT camp with Ron. I have a poncho, I'd sleep leaning up against a tree. I hope DT has some strip maps of the trails. They were out the last time. If I get lost I'll shake a tree and you can find me by seeing which one is moving on the map.

Zout, you know those expiration dates are just "recommendations". They don't go bad.:-D LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Just kiddin' if any BATFE is reading this! Bottom line. You are not in the "bad side" of town, it's like going to a family reunion or church picnic. Use some common sense people , you're not going to impress anyone. Get there and enjoy the common interest in military vehicles and kick your shoes off and relax. Zout, Might have to...

Yep, weather channel says real nice weather during the rally! Mid 70's during the day, mid to low 50's at night. The place should be great, some mud here and there but not a swamp. Just did a pre loadup test fit. It all fits! (kind'a) Got to bleed to brakes once more. I'd like to stop when I...

FYI. The camping and clay bowl will be a great place to camp. There are a few obvious trails that cut through it and loop around. Can I say please don't set up camp on the trails. I know it's a "no brainer" but if you arrive in the dead of night you might not realize it. If I remember right...

Oh no. When we'd do a 30 or 45 day field exercise back in the day, the last dinner in the field would be steak! That would motivate you to tear down the camp to go back in with a quickness!

You don't need power steering in a duce! Just learn to bunny hop the front end and you can parallel park that thing in down town Atlanta!

If you REALLY need power in the back forty let me know. I toss a lil' Honda gen in the back of the truck for you. Won't buy the gas though! Ughhh! Darn sure won't toss the big 5K in there. I just run a extension cord from the converter in the truck for my needs nowadays.
