Looks like the positive lead going to the alternator, however it would have to be a self exciting one wire alternator to work as wired. Is it making voltage when running? Congrats on the new addition. OK, missed that it is working but no juice to batteries. You will need to trace that...

Well if it's 12v is the starter 12v as well? stuff we need to know, like if it has been converted to 12v. Here is the factory set up. You should have two large leads and one small one with a Packard connector. #3 large is your ground, lead #12 is the small wire with Packard connector, lead...

Can you post a picture of the back of it? and do you know if it is 24V ? The goat uses a standard 60A 28V alternator but the pulley is special to the goat.

Quarkz has led in the front. See what type of flasher box you have, mechanical or solid state. If it's mechanical it's probably toast, I updated to the solid state. The conversion instructions are in the -20 TM. I rebuilt all my lights, Saturn Surplus had all the parts.

That tag goes in the fuel strainer, it attaches to the strainer with a cotter pin where the safety chain attaches. Can't help with the transmission other than it should be within a year or so of the date of manufacture of the truck.

That primary filter shows you what it's pulling out of the tank, nasty stuff. Good decision taking the time to clean it, that will save a lot of grief in the future. I'm debating on only using the drivers side tank and capping off the cross over fuel tank line. I doubt I would ever need 40...

I used POR-15 Marine Clean, I removed the tanks and set them on a Coleman stove on the ground to heat the solution and loosen the crud on the bottom of the tank, then roll it around the yard for what seemed hours. It took a total of two days from start to end but worth it. I got rid of all the...

Curious to see what the inside of your fuel filters look like, mine had been sitting for 14 years, it took me two days to clean the fuel tanks.

There is a used one on ebay for sale item 172217259874, but as I look at it there are two in the picture, you want the one on the left, might ask him first which is for sale. It's a buy it now so I don't believe I am breaking any rules posting the item number, if I am moderators please delete it.

Before I spent more time or money on the transmission I would evaluate the condition of the rest of the drive train. Drain each and check for water and look inside the best you can for rust. Check the engine to see if it is free and if coolant is in the oil. Pull the inspection plug on the...
