    That is a homemade bracket. I am not sure if you have a direct drive or gear reduction starter. They use different brackets.

    Got to work doing some frame repairs and knocking the rust off the frame. After a coat of KBS coating it should be back on the road. Also found my welding skills are not what the used to be.

    Always hated when the new guys came back with a right hand smoke shifter when you told them to get a left handed one.

    I did put in new isolators but I will check to make sure nothing is getting torqued. Great advice.

    It was a Spectra premium CU850. Looks like the top row of fins detached from the left side metal tank. I'm guessing a bad solder job from the factory.

    Dropped in a new radiator. The one that was in the truck went bad after a year and a half.

    I was trying to get the Snap-on socket but it is back ordered. Even a friend of mine who is a dealer could not find one.

    I used a NOS set of Delphi injectors from Badger Diesel, # 6704001. They came with new fuel hose and washers. They sell them as a kit on Ebay. The socket came from Amazon, OTC 5060 Detroit Diesel socket.

    It is a USMC chevron but it is a Corporal rank. LCpl is one stripe with the crossed rifles.

    Changed out the stock headlights for the Truck-Lite LED headlights. What a difference.

    Did front brake lines, calipers, pads, front bearings and Dog Head relay mod. Half way ready for winter.
