Congrats on the new purchase! The Alamo MVPA is pretty much defunct now. A few members have rolled up in to the Lone Star Chapter but do events in San Antonio (which you're always welcome to but the meetings are in Austin). I'll try to post here if there is anything scheduled locally.

The Lone Star MVPA (based out of Camp Mabry in Austin) only meets once per MONTH. The next meeting is Wed Jun 20 at 7pm at the museum. The other option is the Alamo MVPA that hasn't had a regularly scheduled meeting since 2010 but still gets together for events.
