Insure that is put together well, take some one else with you that knows something. Make sure it has a clean title and the the Vin on the truck matches the one on the paper work. Also check how it is listed I bought a short bus from a guy but title said truck so it now lives in a mine shaft full of rock drill bits! Get the name of his insurance carrier as in some states it is a pain to get, and how much it is a year. Also was it bob'd when he got it inspected and will it pass as it is today?
