What's the amperage limits of the 12 pin trailer receptacle and cable? Does anyone think it'll handle 12 amps of current intermittently like for electric brakes? Squirt truck has a design for a brake conversion kit that I'm still thinking of altering to put the brake controller in the cab with me rather than in the trailer. Thoughts?

Tactical automotive standards for 14 Ga. OZ wire is 20 Amperes. Same goes for the plug/jack scheme. Add in overbuilding factor for 5-6 Amps more with little problem.

I've noticed armor uses the same series of plugs, with 12-Ga OZ in it, rated for 25A.
