To Whom could assist
Seen the link http://www.roscommonequipmentcenter.com/news_notes/nn10.pdf
a few years back to convert to 12 volt, very well done.
My Father bought a beautiful M1028 with very many new parts.
To bad Mother wanted it Un Militarized and painted.
So we did and did the above modification to 12 volt.
The instructions said to use the passengers side alt
(add the needed ground wire)
and to remove the drivers side alternator!
Now tricky part. Instructions referenced removing some of the wires
to the 12 volt diamond shaped terminal block by the GPR.
There are 3 small gage red wires and an orange one left.
I removed the 2 large gage blue wires
that had fusible links to 2 large gage red wires.
Do you remove the small gage orange wire there and which of the 3 small gage red wires? PHEW get all that...
Thanks a lot and I did not want to do this!
