Can someone tell me if a winch and all its parts from a 1953 Reo 6x6 can be put on a 1970 Kaiser M35a2?

Everything is the same except the driveshaft. The gasser driveshaft is a larger diameter and may require trimming where it passes the bellhousing.

I've done the exact same swap twice. Clinto is right about clearancing the bellhousing for the gasser shaft. Ace is also right about there being alot of multifuel shafts about. If you do purchase a multifuel shaft you will need the round 4 bolt flange yoke for the PTO. I think the big dealers can get this item but don't know cost yet. I need one myself.
