I have the engine above, trying to ground hop it, went to the motorpool, and did a test on one of the up armors, and found the shut down solenoid was getting 6v, now I am putting a 6.5 centermount turbo in my CUCV, and am wondering, can I put 12v to it or must it get 6v, I'm pretty sure they are the same motor but more than likely, the one in the up armor is an optimizer seeing how it's brand new. So can I put 12v to it being that it's an older model? Thanks in advance feel free to call 702-327-6679

Actually, the required voltage at the pump should be 24V. The solenoids can be swapped to get them to the required voltage.
