1D PCV Vent tube

Hey guys, I noticed today that the PCV vent tube that drops to the right side of the engine from the valvecovers is vented to the atmosphere on the truck I was looking at. Is that right, or is it missing a tube to go back into the intake or exhaust somewhere?

Road draft tube, old school style. Pre positive crankcase ventilation. It isn't missing anything.

Nope, it normally vents to the atmosphere. Bjorn has his dumping into a breather.
